After having worked in hospitality via hotels in Scotland and sales via a wine cellar company in Ohio, I began my writing escapades with 3 parody books for Amazon. From there I took every writing gig I could acquire. This meant that I gained a wide variety of experience in almost every type of freelance writing, editing, and proofreading. One moment I was writing legal summaries, next I was writing real estate adverts, and then I would write 2k word articles on hot tubs and bitcoin. It was a wild but educational ride. 

After having done a bit of everything and gained some much-needed writing experience, I accepted a job offer to be the sole Content Writer and Copywriter for The Excellence Collection. This allowed me to start 4 new blogs under their 4 subbrands, learn about SEO, and do all their content in all areas of their hotels and resorts. The newsletters, adverts, web content, and all other department publications and guides were the handiwork of yours truly. After having proven my skills by the extremely positive results in web traffic and customer sales, I had the confidence to take flight.

My success was my catapult to broader horizons. Whilst being able to keep former employers as regular clients, I expanded my services and opened the doors to freelance work once more. Now I take my years of freelance writing and my history of work in the hotel and travel industry and use it to aid other brands in their need for expert copy. Whilst I still take a wide range of content writing and copywriting jobs, my primary writing now centers around luxury travel and wellness.
